We live in a fast paced, hectic society. Opportunities to relax are few and far between. (Falling asleep in front of the TV doesn’t count!)
Without taking time out for ourselves we risk a build- up of tension and stress that can easily have a negative effect on our overall health and well- being.
What causes you the most stress?
Problems at work?
Relationships or sex life?
Do you realise when you are stressed? Sometimes other people see it first.
Stress costs businesses over £5 billion every year.
The cost to an individual can be even higher.
Memory problems, lack of concentration, constant negativity.
Aches & pains, nausea, dizziness, constipation, diarrhea, chest pains,
rapid heartbeat. Loss of sex drive. Poor sleeping patterns, eating too much or too little.
Moodiness, being short tempered, feeling agitated and can’t relax.
Relying on alcohol or drugs to relax.
These are just a few of the signs of stress.
Some stress is good; it helps us perform and keeps us safe.
But too much stress isn’t good for anyone.
Are you in control of your stress or is your stress in control of you?
I can teach you coping strategies and help give you back your peace of mind.
I also hold group Stress Buster sessions to give teams back their MoJo!
I belong to the Society of Stress Managers.
